Designation: Junior System Administrator

Requirements: 

• Certification in Linux (RHCE) is mandatory; networking certification is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline (CS, IT).

• Experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

• Act as the primary point-of-contact for all computer and system-related issues raised by employees.

• Take ownership of customer issues reported and ensure problems are resolved effectively.

• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.

• Ensure proper closure of issues and record them in the ticketing system, adhering to the defined SLA based on severity.

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux, Windows, and Mac computer systems and applications.

• Follow standard escalation procedures for unresolved issues to the appropriate person or team.

• Collaborate effectively with the team and maintain a professional working environment.

• Document technical issues and solutions in the form of knowledge bases and tech notes.

• Manage IT assets and ensure timely reporting of asset availability.
